The factory faced a bottleneck, prompting the product design team to develop and manage a new station for "stitching" — temporarily joining two modules for shipment.
After collaborating with over 200 individuals, both within the company and externally, we successfully designed the workstation and created detailed work instructions for the operation.
This project was an incredible opportunity to learn from diverse perspectives across the organization and deliver an effective 3,000-square-foot solution.
This station and work instructions now serve as the standard for all modules being shipped of this facility.
